Aside from the One Ring, the greatest rings were created by Celebrimbor himself, and these were never touched by Sauron and thus were uncorrupted by him, although they were still subject to the One Ring. These were the Three Rings of the Elves, and a chief source of the beauty that came about in the Third Age. Celebrimbor named them Vilya, Narya, and Nenya after the Middle-earth elements of air, fire and water. He sent the three rings to Elf-lords for safekeeping: Vilya and Narya to Gil-galad in Lindon; and Nenya to Galadriel. Celebrimbor also sent the mightiest of the seven to Durin III of Khazad-dûm.

Sauron retaliated by attacking Eregion, laying waste to the realm. Celebrimbor was captured in the chaos and was forced, under torture, to disclose the locations of the lesser rings, but he would not reveal the whereabouts of the Three. Celebrimbor died from his torment, and his body was shot with arrows and hung upon a pole, and was later paraded as a banner when Sauron attacked the Grey Havens.

So can Elladan and Elrohir walk on snow??? Because elves can, but they're not elven. There's also lines that show they are less capable of elven feats, such as only Legolas being able to spot the wraith-riders near the Path of the Dead.

Annahiril - TROP Season 2

Before reading my notes about Annahiril's timeline, I advise you to take a look at her previous ref sheet from TROP Season 1. This way, it will be easier for you to understand who Annahiril is ♡

Here we are! After weeks of work, I'm glad to show you Annahiril during the events of TROP season 2 ♡

Now that I have figured out her role during this season, I can't wait to draw more artworks to illustrate it ♡

Annahiril's Timeline - TROP Season 2

Annahiril will stay in Eregion after Halbrand's disappearance (Meanwhile, her sister Annaedhel will go to Lindon with Elrond and Galadriel).

When Halbrand came back, she immediately runs into him and begged Celebrimbor to let him in (Which he will firstly refuse of course).

The next day, her cousin will introduce her to Annatar, the Messager from the Valar. He'll also tell her about Halbrand and him being the same person.

Annahiril will be a bit confused about Halbrand's new form and identity, nevertheless her feelings for him haven't changed.

The Elf Lady will assist Celebrimbor and his students in the creation of the rings of power. 

Meanwhile, Annatar and Annahiril will maintain their romantic relationship. However, they will keep it private/secret.

During the siege of Eregion, Annatar will keep Annahiril locked away in her room. He convinced her to obey him, telling her he wouldn't risk to lose what he values the most in his immortal life: Her, his beloved lover. Blind by her love for him, she remained in her room without any resilience.

After weeks of being a prisonner, Annahiril decided to escape. She couldn't stay here any longer while her family and friends was dying.

On her way to find her family, she stopped by Celebrimbor's workshop. She will find nobody except Annatar, making a mess as he was looking for something...

While Annatar was approching her, a wounded Celebrimbor will enter the room. Annahiril will run into her cousin, happy to see him alive.

Celebrimbor will ask her to leave, since Annatar was in reality Sauron. But Annahiril will not have the opportunity to escape as Sauron killed the guards who accompanied the Lord of Eregion.

Annahiril will stand against her husband to protect Celebrimbor. She will try to stab him but will not succeed to do it.

Having no more time to lose, Sauron will use his power to put his wife into a deep sleep.

(Annahiril will be then kidnapped by Sauron, I guess ???)

About TROP Timeline

I took inspiration from The Silmarillion timeline, but I took the liberty to adapt it to my needs. The Rings of Power series is clearly taking inspiration from Tolkien's work but is not a direct adaptation. 

So, since the series haven't revealed many elements from what happened before Morgoth defeat and the First Age (Even if, we have some information here and there), I created mine. Which means, this can change if the series revealed new information.

As well as attending the Madrid première of S2 of The Lord of the Rings on Prime 😊✨💍⚔️ with Pilar Erika on August 26th, as part of the Sociedad Tolkien Española and cosplaying as an Eregion Noldorin Elf OC (me) and a Númenórean OC, we also got our authors copies of a newly published book of essays on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Tolkien's death: JRR Tolkien en el reino peligroso by Legendaria Ediciones, a book for which we have each written an article 😊📚✨📜 . Pilar Erika's is about Tolkien's prose translation of the epic poem Beowulf, including a thorough comparative discussion of several other translations of Beowulf and how they compare to Tolkien's. Mine is an analysis of gender roles in the Noldorin Elven society of the First Age, focusing on characters such as Míriel Therindë and Nerdanel, and how their narrative arcs showcase both the limitations of their supposedly utopian society, and how they subvert gender norms in different ways, and what this can tell us about the constructed nature of societal gender roles and the nuance of approaching Tolkien's work from a feminist pov 📚♀️⚔️ . ✨📚Find this book here✨📚
